BOARD MEMBERS

ORNS is governed by a Board of Directors, which is made up of parents and the executive director.The Board makes decisions about school programs and policies and plans activities for the school. Board meetings are held every 4th Monday of each month at 7:00 at school. All are welcome. The Board is divided into committees, responsible for various needs of the preschool.

PROGRAM COMMITTEE
Arranges extra-curricular programs for ORNS families, including presentations on relevant topics, parent/child activities and our kindergarten information session.


FUNDRAISING COMMITTEE

Plans and organizes annual fundraisers for the school. Generates money to purchase needed equipment,classroom supplies and fund our tuition assistance program.


Fall Cleaning
BUILDING & GROUNDS COMMITTEE
Organizes Indoor and Outdoor Clean-Up Days in both Fall and Spring to ensure that our facility is neat, clean, and well maintained.


SOCIAL COMMITTEE

Coordinates refreshments for ORNS events throughout the school year and assists with event set up and clean up. Plans the end of the year picnic for families.


MARKETING COMMITTEE
Plans and organizes advertising and external promotion for ORNS, including the design, development and management of the preschool’s website. Coordinates spirit apparel sales and the annual family survey.

ROOM PARENT COMMITTEE
Oversees the parent volunteers from each preschool class who plan monthly events for families outside of school.

PUBLIC RELATIONS COMMITTEE
Manages the indoor and outdoor bulletin boards to communicate timely information to ORNS families.
